BRITISH BLUES QUINTET Live In Glasgow

…An absolutely sensational show thankfully captured for posterity.

All Music Guide (November 2007)

A good, solid selection of blues rock played by a very competent set of musicians. More a band to see live through for the atmosphere than on CD or DVD which although an enjoyable listen can never capture the sheer enjoyment a band like this would provide in the flesh. ***½

With no studio cuts under their belt, the band go for the throat with a fine selection of the blues classics and their own songs, and here, not knowing their engineer is recording the performance, the BBQ are as natural as it gets.

…this live recording shows how a blues band can rock…This CD is a hidden gem and a strong candidate for one of my albums of the year.

Nigel Filby, Diss Express (Dec 2007)

Maggie Bell and friends give an inspired performance…That’s The Way I Feel in particular gives each of the virtuousos the chance to show off their prowess…

…this is a tremendous album that captures the atmosphere and sound perfectly of five of British blues most respected names.
