ROBIN GEORGE is a multi skilled and highly gifted individual who is widely admired as one of the most gifted British guitarists, respected producer and prolific songwriter. In reality his catalogue is something that deserves to be explored, discovered or indeed re-discovered.

Inspiring many he has worked alongside a star studded list of all time greats. This list includes ROBERT PLANT, DAVID BYRON, PHIL LYNOTT, JOHN WETTON, TED NUGENT, PETE WAY, ROY WOOD and many, many more.

Robert Plant recorded two of Robin’s compositions ‘Red For Danger’ as well as ‘Machine’ both of which Robin’s original versions are included here.

This 2CD set captures real class rock music with ‘Crying Diamonds’ which has been further enhanced by 4 excellent bonus tracks and the live album from 1985 ‘Dangerous Music’ which also boasts extra goodies.

Reviews

Angel Air continue their excellent series of Robin George related releases with another double set treat...Along with 'Dangerous Music' and the recently re-issued Life album this is a 'must have'.

The live album (George's band included ex-Magnum drummer Kex Gorin) is of reasonable sound quality but it features a cracking setlist featuring 'Heartline', 'Spy' and 'Hitlist' plus you get four bonus live songs recorded for the BBC.

With these added bonus songs plus informative sleeve notes this is a CD for his existing fans plus those who enjoy hard rock meets blues with a touch of pop. 4/5

This guy writes some great songs...and the guitar licks are, of course, top notch and totally tasty (Top Pick)

...Robin has a fantastic guitar sound. a fine and easily digested voice - but also a penchant for pop...

The studio album...has 17 tracks of more than acceptable blues-based heavy-end pop-rock with soul-tinged choruses...The live album is definitely blues-rock...

...a band that was clearly firing on all cylinders delivering a vibrant, and road tightened set

Jeff Perkins, Eurorock (July 2010)

...George's skill as a writer is mightily impressive ... His melodies are gossamer thin, but he spins them out and expands them into something more substantial. Later, you'll find yourself humming his songs without realising that they've insinuated their way inside...a marvellous, value-for-money, double disc package.
