In 1985 BO DIDDLEY
put together a band that included ROLLING STONE RON WOOD, JOHN MAYALL,
MICK FLEETWOOD, KENNY JONES & RONNIE LANE (FACES), CARL WILSON (BEACH
BOYS), JOHN LODGE (MOODY BLUES), CHUCK NEGRAM (THREE DOG NIGHT), CARMINE
APPICE (VANILLA FUDGE) and then invited a very, very special guest CHUCK
BERRY to perform. Bo Diddley's songs are mostly about Bo Diddley, 'The rock'n'roll legend', but Chucks' performance as ever is masterful and compelling. The group is terrific and everyone appears to having a ball including Ron Wood who spent the whole concert grinning from ear to ear for the opportunity to be on stage with two of his heroes. Bo Diddley died in June 2008 and this recording is a timely reminder of the great man's unique talent.
