On 30th November and 1st
December 2007 at The Windlesham Theatre, Surrey, England FIRE one
of the UK’s most influential underground and progressive rock bands of
late 60’s/early 70/s reformed to perform their concept album “The Magic
Shoemaker”. This album is a live recording of the band playing that album in its entirety. The three original members DAVE LAMBERT, DICK DUFALL and BOB VOICE were joined on stage by RAY HAMMOND to narrate the story which Dave Lambert wrote as one of the first British “concept albums” ever to be recorded. Fire disbanded in 1971 and Dave Lambert joined the STRAWBS and today he still tours with the band as singer, songwriter and guitarist for the band. MUSICIANS |
