Steve Gray enjoyed live and recording work as a member of Sky before that band split in the early 90s. He then turned to long-time friends Brian Bennett (Shadows) and Paul Hart who recruited Mo Foster (Affinity, Jeff Beck) and Clem Clempson (Colosseum) to form a band.

As Survivors, they recorded 11 tracks between January and June 1992 which, until now, have never seen the light of day. With the band keen to perform their pieces to a live audience, they failed to excite management or record company interest.

This CD will be of special interest to fans of the Shadows and Sky. The liner notes feature contributions from band members as well as rare unseen photos.
