MAGGIE BELL has
enjoyed over the years considerable critical and commercial success and
whilst she was last in the Top 20 singles charts back in 1981( 'Hold Me' with BA ROBERTSON) she has continued to tour throughout the world and record. 'No Mean City' was recorded in 1992 when MIKE MORAN was commissioned to write the score for a new Scottish TV show which is now broadcast in over 30 countries around the world. Maggie was the natural choice for vocals for a Police drama from her home town-Glasgow. The single is much sought after and until now has never before been released commercially as a single |
