FREEDOM was formed in the autumn of 1967 by two ex-members of Procol Harum, Bobby Harrison and Ray Royer. This album, released for the first time on CD, is the band’s last-ever release from 1972 and featured Roger Saunders, Steve Jolly and Pete Dennis, and Bobby Harrison.
During 1969 Freedom released “Freedom At Last” followed in 1971 by “Through The Years” They got to tour the USA supporting BLACK SABBATH and JETHRO TULL where both albums got released.
This first-to-CD release completes the Snafu story on Angel Air, following on the heels of the 2-CD set Snafu/Situation Normal (SJPCD030). The band’s third LP “All Funked Up” has long been regarded as their “great lost album” and difficult to track down on vinyl. Continue reading
